Quick Search

Purpose:

Allow users to quickly access an object in myWorksites which they know exists.

Example Use Case

An applicant phones the RCA to ask a Corridor Manager a question about a specific Worksite.
The Corridor Manager asks the applicant what the Worksite ID is over the phone and then types the number into a search field which is available on all pages of myWorksites. A shortlist of results is populated in a drop down and the Corridor Manager chooses the best match.

The Corridor Manager and Applicant are now looking at the same thing.

Benefits:

• Quick access to objects in the system for power users

• Improves UX by visually and logically separating our filtering system and from text search (both currently on the same page but have very different purposes)
