Improving Road Controlling Authority regulatory functions by optimising audit, compliance and inspection processes for teams in relation to Warranty and Corridor Management processes.

Problems to overcome:

There are multiple audit, compliance and inspection functions RCA’s must undertake, and these functions are not currently well supported by cohesive tooling. Key challenges faced:

• Fragmented tooling and processes creates inefficiencies and a lack of oversight to meet regulatory needs.

• Ineffective tooling relies on manual heavy processes, limiting time available for higher-value work that teams could be doing.

• Data across different systems limits the ability to have automated insights, meaning inspection efforts are unable to be targeted for maximum efficiency.|

Benefits & outcomes sought:  

This initiative aims to build on existing automation, review and audit functionality and will enable myWorksites to be a comprehensive system, focusing on:

• Automated inspections: Drive targeted audit, compliance, and inspection activities through automation and data insights.

• Efficiency gains: Free up team time for higher-value work by reducing manual steps and tool switching.
